Students on a school trip can see what unfolds as they travel Fjord Norway. It is a fantastic story of water, with many chapters. The fjords were carved by a massive sheet of ice up to three kilometers thick that covered Northern Europe in a succession of ice ages. Three of the most stunning Fjords are Geirangerfjord, the Nærøyfjord, and the Lysefjord. Each has its own character and presence. [Svalbard](https://en.visitsvalbard.com/) is the place in Norway where the midnight sun occurs for the longest period. Here, the sun doesn’t set between 20 April and 22 August.
